RevBio Advisory Board

In June, 2021 Dr. Glickel was appointed to the Medical Advisory Board of RevBio, a biotechnology startup based out of Lowell Massachusetts. It has developed the first synthetic bone adhesive which becomes hard very rapidly and is ultimately replaced with bone by the body. It has several applications some of which are already being used clinically and others of which are currently being studied including treatment of distal radius fractures. The company recently received an NIH grant to study its use in stablilzing wrist fracture in the elderly.
