The Littler Legacy, published in 2020, is a book about hand surgery but is really an art book. It pays homage to J. William Littler, M.D., my mentor in hand surgery and arguably one of the few greatest hand surgeons of the twentieth century. He was also a brilliantly talented artist and the majority of his drawings were of hands. His patient records were drawings of their hands and whatever clinical problem they manifested. This book is a compilation of those drawings with annotations of each by the authors.
